Job Title : Business Intelligence Specialist Location : Beaverton,OR Duration : 9 Months Rate : $50/Hr Description/Comment: This team supports the Nike Global Sales function. Specifically, the Business Intelligence (BI) team creates reporting solutions that deliver critical intelligence to the Global Sales analysts & executives. The BI team also interacts with other functions and shared services to drive projects. The team currently consists of 20-25 core and extended team members. Describe what the ETW will be doing in this role:This individual will be responsible for providing expert level analysis and support of BI projects within our 3 year global sales reporting program. Describe the Key Projects/Deliverables associated with this role:•Provide innovative ideas for Cognos/Teradata solutions based on documented requirements.•Act as a liaison between global/local business customers and IT engineers to get project tasks completed on a timely basis.•Participate in and provide documentation for QA & UAT testing phases.•Be an expert at troubleshooting techniques to diagnose and resolve issues quickly.•Review and provide feedback on conceptual designs.•Provide guidance to IT engineers to ensure solutions are robust and meet business requirements•Provide guidance on portal user experience. Top Must Have: Expert communication and organizational skills 5 yrs experience working on Business Intelligence Projects 3 yrs experience working at companies with SAP R/3 implemented 3 yrs experience Advanced working knowledge of one of the following: Cognos, SAP BW, Oracle, Teradata. Advanced understanding of technical data warehousing concepts (ETL, Modeling, SQL, tuning, etc) Nice to Have/Highly Desired, but not required: One full-lifecycle SAP implementation Big “5” tech consulting experience (IBM, Deloitte, Cap-Gemeni, Accenture, HP) Some knowledge of Erwin B.S, M.S.
