POSITION: Sharepoint Developer
--------------Must be a US Citizen, Green Card or TN, EAD-------------------------- Location: Des Moines, IA Duration: 6 month contract to hire Start: ASAP RATE: 50/hr Details: Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: * Assist with architecture, design, development, deployment, and management of SharePoint (MOSS) projects * Software development in the.NET environment * Web part customization and integrate related technologies * Software testing * Assessment of current state of existing applications to identify, manage, and fix software defects, and develop additional code as needed * Resolve technical issues through debugging, research and investigation * Effective communication with technical specialists, project manager, and clients Qualifications: * 4 or more years hands-on experience on architecture, development and deployment for Microsoft Office SharePoint Services (MOSS) * 4 or more years work experience in ASP.NET or equivalent * 4 or more years hands-on database skills working with SQL Server or other relational databases (e.g., Oracle) * Experience with CorasWorks suite of products, Lotus Notes and Object Store is a big plus * Experience in design, implementation and integrating java-based applications in SharePoint * Familiarity with data migration skills * Excellent customer care skills and abilities-key are effective verbal, written, and listening communications skills * Experience working within application development for federal sector projects is desirable * Strong SDLC process approach to software engineering * Good understanding of IIS and other app/web servers is desirable Thanks, Alexandra Castillo Corona Technology Staffing, Inc.
