Location: Oakland, CA Duration: 5-6 month contract Start: ASAP Rate: market Details: Need a resource for the project of which is at mid stage right now. Client is in the process of replacing a 25 year old, custom system for their Rent Stabilization Board. The system is responsible for registering property owners, property managers, tenants, buildings, and rental units. It is tracks actual and maximum allowed rents per unit as well as performing complicated rent adjustment calculations based upon a variety of factors. There is also an appeal/hearing component. The system is being developed in a mixture of WebMethods BPM, .Net C#, and SQL Server. Much of the core BPM work has been completed but there are some minor subsystems that remain. Much of the complicated calculation code has been written. A substantial amount of UI work remains as does the entire reporting component (which will be done using SQL Report Services.
