This is a highly technical, hands on role: 80% of the work will involve recording and executing complex Web based scenarios using Test Partner & QA Director tool (Compuware). · Candidate should be able to develop and convert test plans and test cases into automated test suites. Should be able to Analyze and write test standards and procedures. Maintain documentation of test results. Analyze test results and recommends corrective actions. · Deep understanding of both system-level and unit-level testing methodologies, specifically with web-based applications. · Experience reviewing and providing feedback on automation code, following and promoting code standards, and designing automation components for reusability and maintainability. · Should have strong analytical abilities, excellent teamwork and communication skills, and the ability to design, implement, maintain and extend effective system test automation solutions. · Experience is setting up the test environment for web based applications on server machines. · Strong working knowledge and experience in MS SQL Server 2005/Oracle/DB2 in handling queries/ restoring databases/ db maintenance. · Good knowledge of software development life cycle, SQA/Testing process flow and their tools usage. · Should have good exposure in creating/working on different automation frameworks.
