Essential skills, duties, and responsibilities as a Lead Business
Intelligence Analyst include: 

* Manage and lead team of Business Intelligence Analysts to ensure best
practices, policies, SDLC, and governance is followed.
* Team Lead for Business Intelligence team, including team planning, and
associate/team development.
* Working technical knowledge of Oracle Business Intelligence (OBIEE)
technology platform, or proficiency with other major business intelligence
platform.
* Working technical knowledge of Business Intelligence tool architectures,
functions, strategies, and features.
* Proficient in report development, including ad-hoc and dashboards.
* Proficient in SQL Server technology, as well as, having a good
understanding in Oracle database technology.
* Ability to execute an enterprise Business Intelligence Portal strategy.
* Ability to translate business questions and requirements into actionable
reporting applications.
* Working technical knowledge of OLTP and Data Warehouse design
methodologies and principles, including thorough understanding of relational
and multidimensional designs.
* Working technical knowledge in efficient and effective OLAP design and
development.
* Data Access requirements that include proficiency in SQL along with
working technical knowledge of MDX for analysis and reporting.
* Plan, develop, maintain, and execute end-user training and documentation.
* Ability to effectively manage multiple assignments and priorities.
* Ability to instill and reinforce a strong customer service and
business-oriented ethic in the team.
* Promote and apply technical architecture best practices and standards at a
project, program and department level.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Must be able to
communicate complex technical issues to all stakeholders, including those
who do not have a technical background.


* Possess a Bachelor*s degree in computer science, engineering or networking
related technologies or equivalent.
* Possess or have made progress towards receiving a TDWI Certification or
equivalent experience.
* Hold a cumulative of at 5+ years of experience in technology leadership
and management positions, including: 
o At least two years in the management of technical/support personnel.
o No less than 2 years of project management experience.
o At least 5 years experience working with enterprise reporting tools.
o Experience managing software solution projects that have a budget of at
least $1,000,000 and business systems portfolios consisting of multiple
applications/technologies and teams (direct or matrix).
