POSITION: Java Developer
Openings: 3 Location: Belmont, CA Duration: 12 months contract Start: ASAP RATE: 50-55/hr Details: Need quality back-end enterprise Java developers with experience building software products (not internal IT projects). Looking for a Senior Java Engineer for core application development. You need to be extremely hands-on to architect, develop, and deliver the product to a demanding market. You'll leverage company's industry-leading EnergyIP platform and be on a robust, aggressive development lifecycle to match the pace of this growing green-tech market. You'll architect and drive Java code that's well-built and layered based on the company's framework and development guidelines. You'll use modern technologies and test-driven methodologies, to ensure that the solution will meet the functional, quality, and performance requirements. You should have excellent analytical and creative problem solving skills and be able to deliver high-quality, extensible implementation. The position also entails analysis of existing modules to solve issues and enhance the features. Required Capabilities/Experience * 7+ years of relevant experience * Extensive enterprise Java programming experience with one or more application servers at all layers (persistence, business logic, interfaces) * Technical design expertise - proven experience taking functional specifications and transforming to long-lived technical design * Demonstrated ability to deliver a coherent product on time and beyond expectations * Strong experience in developing robust, high-volume, commercial web-based applications. * Expertise using ORMs and relational databases, SQL, and JDBC * Excellent oral/written communication skills and particularly lucid thinking and abstraction skills * Rapid, crisp thinking and decision making * Excellent collaboration abilities, a positive attitude, and strong interpersonal skills Highly Desirable Capabilities/Experience * Hands-on experience with Spring * Experience with internet-related technologies and protocols * JMS, message oriented middleware, distributed multi-tier applications * Experience in performance testing and optimization * Unix/Linux as well as Windows/Mac Thanks, Alexandra Castillo Corona Technology Staffing, Inc.
