My direct client is in the process of planning a centralized Active Directory infrastructure to move from Novell eDirectory; client is in the need of an Active Directory Architect to help design the system and plan the migration.
Candidate must have: * Superior Microsoft enterprise software expertise with significant focus on Active Directory. * Solid expertise of centralized enterprise directories of various types and single sign-on technology. * Experience designing and architecting Active Directory solutions for medium to large size organization. * Superb knowledge of hardware systems and ability to design to fault tolerant, highly available systems. * Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to document proposed architecture as well as implementation and migration plans. * Ability to work hands-on to implement and support proposed solutions. * Outstanding knowledge of general technology required to run an enterprise directory, including but not limited to: networking, backups, desktop management and security. * Working knowledge of Novell eDirectory and server virtualization preferred, but not required. .
