POSITION: Sr. Oracle DBA
Location: Orlando, FL
Duration: 4 months contract
Start: ASAP
RATE: 50/hr
Details:
Need resumes for a Senior Oracle DBA.
This should be someone with experience leading both support and project work
for Oracle RAC clusters.
Oracle DBA (5-10 years experience):
(1) Support and manage Oracle DB 7,8i,9i,10g and 11g
(2) Manage RAC and ASM, both 32-bit and 64-bit environments
(3) Support production DB monitoring, troubleshooting & performance tuning
(4) Proficient with Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) Grid Control
(5) Perform RMAN backup and restore, examine alert logs
(6) Perform DB cloning to support development activities
(7) Proficient in PL SQL code to assist development effort
(8) Perform Oracle DB/Apps patches
(9) Perform DB upgrade, e.g. from 9i to 10g RAC etc.
(10) Perform DB server hardware upgrade
(11) Enforce and maintain DB security
(12) Manage Oracle applications including:
(a) Oracle Financial 11i
(b) Oracle Collaboration Suite
(c) Oracle Application Server Suite
(13) Understand Unix internals including Solaris and Red Hat Linux
(14) In-depth knowledge for MySQl and MS SQL server is a big plus
(15) Prefer OCP certification with 10+ year industry experience
