Duration : 6 Months Rate : DOE *Job Description:* *Performance Tester* **The job of the performance tester is to validate the performance requirements of given system by measuring, comparing and reporting the performance of a system with its benchmark for given set of scenarios. * * *Required Skills:* - Ability to translate software specifications and user requirements into performance test scenarios; - Ability to participate in design walk-through; - Ability to develop performance test plans and other test artifacts; - Ability to design, build and execute performance tests for both browser and non-browser applications; - Ability to analyze test data to identify the cause and possible solutions for performance issues; - Ability to provide comprehensive performance results reports to project developers and business users; - Ability to conduct regressive performance tests to confirm application performance has not degraded; - Ability to manage multiple priorities and adjust to changing priorities; - Ability to communicate project status to varying levels of management ; - Ability to identify gaps in current process and tools and suggest new ways to improve them. - Ability to manage overall performance test schedule; - Strong problem solving and analytical skills demonstrated by the ability to assimilate new information, understand complex topics and arrive at sound analysis and judgment; - Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills; - Well-versed in the use of Microsoft Office Tools *Critical Skills: * - Experience with performance testing of BI applications with multi dimensional data warehouses. - Detailed knowledge of web and non-web application architecture - Working knowledge of Unix, Windows and Linux - Working knowledge of BI applications. - Working knowledge of Websphere or Weblogic or .Net - Experience with SQL server databases. - Detailed knowledge of Performance Test tools (Microfocus preferred) * Preferred Skills:* - Experience with MQ or equivalent messaging systems - Education/Certifications: Bachelor's or Master's Degree in a relevant field of work or equivalent work experience. - Business Travel Required: No - Business Expenses Allowed: None Please e-mail your resume, rate and contact number to [email protected] Thanks Ravi 302.994.6789 Techno Soft Inc [email protected] -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "American Vendor--IT Consulting" group.
