*Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:* - 2-5 years of experience with SQL including stored procedures - Hands-on experience with Oracle RDBMS - Able to design, develop, configure and optimize Cognos reports, cubes and dashboards. - 5 years direct (hands on) experience developing reporting solutions with Cognos technologies - 5 years direct experience architecting, designing, configuring and implementing Cognos reporting environments - Must have hands on experience on Cognos Report Studio, Cognos Analysis Studio, Metrics Studio, and Cognos 8 portals - 3+ years "hands-on" experience with budgeting, consolidation, and financial reporting applications - 3+ Design and Develop BI reports and cubes - 3+ years "hands-on" development experience with Hyperion Planning and Essbase, Business Rules, HAL, Windows Batch Scripting, Shared Services, Essbase and Planning Security Administration. - 3+ years "hands-on" experience in maintaining and administering Hyperion Planning and Essbase applications, including administration of security in Shared Services and Planning, hierarchy maintenance, user support and analysis of system issues and root cause identification. *Additional desired skills include:* - Direct experience with ETL tools from Oracle, IBM/Cognos, Informatica or Microsoft is a plus - Comprehend and implement custom data models.
