PERMANENT POSITION:   User Support Specialist

 

Location:  Gaithersburg, MD

Duration:   PERMANENT FULLTIME - Direct from Day 1

Start:  ASAP

Salary: 75k - 85k DOE

The primary purpose of position is to provide help desk tasks and support to
client-based computer users in all departments in order to maintain the
effectiveness and productivity of company.

 

As  a User Support Specialist, you are delegated  the administrative
authority, responsibility, and accountability necessary for carrying out
your assigned duties.

 

Responsible for help desk functions which includes software support on
spreadsheets, word processors, desktop publishing, and e-mail software.

 

Assist users in their PC usage, troubleshooting PC problems, and providing
solutions to the users.

 

1) Experience in implementing IT projects

2) Project management experience

3) Leadership or management experience

4) Healthcare environment experience

5) Some IT security experience 

6) Databases and specialized IT systems support. Programming a plus.

7) Budget, finance or payroll applications support.

 

Personnel duties:

 

Review and check competence of work force  and make necessary adjustments
and corrections as required or that may become necessary.
