Position / Req. ID : Senior System Business Analyst with Fixed Income /C06-2073/MA Primary Skills : Fixed Income instruments, Data warehouses, Data marts and OLAP technologies, Strong Financial/Investment Trading Domain experience Description : The selected SENIOR CONSULTANT will be working with our client's Reporting team in gathering business requirements, preparing functional specifications, test plans, and supporting UAT process on scheduled application releases and/or enhancements. In addition, the SENIOR CONSULTANT will be responsible for supporting various applications under Client Reporting domain needs arise. In this role, the SENIOR CONSULTANT will work closely with application development teams as well. Extensive knowledge and work experience with investments data particularly with Fixed Income and Derivatives products/instruments is required. This position requires a high level of direct interaction with end users, excellent analytical and communications skills, and experience with database technologies including SQL and Oracle. * Minimum of 7 years of experience in a senior systems analysis role supporting client reporting applications * Strong understanding of the investment processes, financial markets and statistics, with a deep knowledge of Fixed Income instruments and practices, including mortgage backed securities, swaps and other derivatives * Demonstrated experience in business analysis for large systems initiatives and the ability to contribute to the development of a comprehensive systems strategy Experience with Investment Data warehouses, Data marts and OLAP technologies * Strong understanding of the market data * Experience with ad hoc reporting tools such as Oracle, OBIEE, Cognos. * Working knowledge of SQL and PL/SQL. * Familiar with test driven and iterative development.
