ü Location: Burbank, CA ü ü Duration: 6 month contract Start: Immediate ü ü Rate: 50/hr Details: Cognos Systems Administrator This System Analyst will be the 2nd level technical support analyst for the Cognos Applications for this Enterprise environment. This environment consists of Apache Web Servers, running on Linux, Application Servers which run on Windows. The work will include: • Troubleshooting these servers when production problems occur; this will require knowledge of the following technology: • Apache, Linux, Java, Windows, Windows scripting and Cognos. • Detailing troubleshooting and analysis of enterprise Cognos applications, including consulting with users and working with technical and functional specification. • Application of patches, system enhancement and upgrades to the Cognos Applications when needed. • Design and development of system fixes/enhancements based on analysis of initial trouble report from users Candidate must be available to rotate "on call" for 24x7 support and be available on some weekends.
