Position: Firmware Embedded Engineer
Duration: 6 month contract
Location: Valencia, Ca (near Los Angeles)
CLIENT WILL REQUIRE IN-PERSON INTERVIEW AFTER PHONE SCREEN.
Will need to do 1 phone interview and take test
Medical device or FDA environment experience is a plus.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
Work with designers to understand and execute against device/system
level requirements
* Requirements and Systems Analysis
Interpret white-box level design concepts and implementation
* Understand C++ class, component OOP architecture
Perform unit and integration level testing on next generation class
III medical device firmware.
* Build and run firmware using IAR Embedded Workbench IDE
* Create test scripts for regression testing using PHP, Python.
* Perform Code Coverage Analysis using LDRA TestBed
Actively participate within a highly effective and innovative design
team environment
Job Requirements:
Embedded Development Experience: at least 5 years
* Handheld device development experience such as smartphones,
etc
Embedded C++ programming knowledge: 2 years minimum.
* Will accept 5 years non-embedded C++ knowledge if candidate
has 5 or more years of embedded development experience.
Scripting language experience (PHP4 or PHP5 based experience highly
preferred):
Software Test Automation (construction and/or usage): 3 - 5 years
