Direct Client Req : ViewPoint - ERP Specialist
Duration : 3-6 month project Location: Los Angeles, CA Rate : $ DOE MS SQL Database and ERP Systems experience is a must. MS Office Application experience and Crystal Reports Design are required. Viewpoint Construction Software, Cognition Enterprise and Business Objects experience is preferred. Must be a team player and have good "deskside" manners. In town travel, and some trips to Wyoming or Colorado could be required. The ERP System Specialist's primary role and responsibility is to support the implementation and ongoing operation of the Viewpoint enterprise resource planning system. II. ESSENTIAL POSITION RESULTS . Meets business requirements and objectives by developing and implementing Viewpoint modification and/or configuration changes. . Provides functional expertise, guidance, presentation and instruction by educating customers on Viewpoint products. . Solves Viewpoint software problems by acting as a liaison for troubleshooting; investigations and analysis. . Adheres to Viewpoint standards by maintaining a comprehensive knowledge of Viewpoint best practices. . Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies. . Accomplishes goals and performs a variety of tasks by relying on experience and judgment. . Maintains customer confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential. . Maintains a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules and regulations. . Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. Experience: . 2 years of system configuration or programming in an ERP system environment. . Minimum of 2 years experience in ERP system implementations and functional expertise in Payroll, Time Management, or Human Resources modules. Knowledge/Skills: . An understanding of the Viewpoint implementation methodology or similar enterprise-wide business solution software. . A Mastery of Microsoft SQL Server 2005. Ability to create and run adhoc queries. . Must be a results oriented professional with excellent verbal/written communication skills using diplomacy and discretion as well as strong customer service skills. . Ability to multi-task, work independently and/or within a team, attention to detail and meet deadlines.
