*ROLE SUMMARY :* The role of a Web Developer requires you to: * Design and develop Java software components in a fast paced multidisciplinary environment. * Lead on discrete development projects and take complete ownership of a technical solution. * Develop accurate level of effort estimates, and manage task schedules. * Suggest solutions to business problems/processes. * Interact well with other team members such as architects, testers, analysts, and release managers in order to accomplish the business goal. * Communicate effectively and consistently across client and Openet in support of the Web Services group objectives. * Ensure deliverables/targets are met. * Create cohesive and clear documentation supporting tasks, issues and analysis. *PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES :* * Gather and documents high level requirements from business units. * Perform development tasks as assigned. * Perform thorough code review, unit and regression testing for development tasks. * Investigate and resolve application issues. * Provide manager and/or Technical Lead with results of tasks and description of any problems or issues.
