Purpose: Customer is looking for a TSM resource to
assist with the below. Must have excellent
communication/written skills:
Activities
1. Identify and document 100% of the
in-scope Backup and Recovery Services
(BRS) platforms, operational
standards, DR requirements/dependencies,
processes and associated systems to
be migrated to the customer CTC facility in New
Albany, Ohio.
2. Develop a project management plan
for the complete engagement and provide
updates to ensure visibility and
coordination across the program.
3. Develop a consolidation and
migration strategy which will allow all in-scope BRS
Platforms to be migrated to the
customer CTC with the least impact to operations,
lowest data migration volumes and
lowest cost while ensuring 100% data
integrity and recoverability.
4. Ensure that all customer legal and
compliance requirements are met and accounted
for in the new operational model
standard operation procedures.
5. Create plan and testing/validation
procedures to support all new BRS services at
the customer CTC and support
operational migration scope as part of the overall
application migration portion of the
Data Center move.
6. Assess remote operations
requirements and develop a support plan.
7. Determine media management
requirements to ensure that on site and Third
party services can be procured to
support BRS daily operations.
8. Review, coordinate, and manage the
migration, configuration and documentation
of Disaster Recovery functional and
non-functional requirements once BRS
services migrate to the customer CTC.
Deliverables
• Project Management Plan
• Listing of all in-scope BRS
platforms, and associated documentation with details
to support application migration
planning and execution.
• Reference architecture documents as
determined through discovery phase of the customer project.
• Develop SOP's and artifacts for
testing and validation of all in-scope BRS
platforms/ data migration and
replication which will be moved to the customer CTC.
• Develop data consolidation/
replication/migration plans for all in-scope BRS
platforms and data which Will migrate
to the customer facility by close of the program.
• Develop/Update Operational
Procedures (SOP's) for managing BRS operations
and capacity management on the new
BRS platforms at the new facility.
