*Position Description:*
• Employ proficient quality assurance skills including:
o definition and execution of test plans,
o entering software defects into issue tracking systems,
o maintenance of the QA lab,
o development of test cases to ensure that developed software systems meet
functional requirements.
• Define and Execute automation and load test scripts/test plans and perform
maintenance on those scripts.
• Work closely with software developers to help troubleshoot issues during
unit testing.
• Work with Customer Support specialist to help identify and troubleshoot
issues reported in the field.
• Coordination w/ research, product, editorial, ad operations, and other
customer facing groups.

• Three plus years QA experience with interactive software systems.
• At least 1 year of experience leading a team of QA analysts.
• Strong track record of working with clients to define, plan, and execute
an end-to-end test plan – from functionality testing, to end-user work flow
testing.
• Detail oriented with strong written skills and an ability to work well in
a team environment.
1-2 years experience Testing Web, Mobile/WAP, and Smart Phone applications.
Proficient in writing and executing test scripts:
- Experience with a test scripting tool such as Test Director or
Rational preferred
- Experience with automated testing tools such as Mercury tools
(WinRunner and QuickTest Pro) or Rational or Quality Center preferred
• Good troubleshooting skills to be able to discover and reproduce software
defects and be able to concisely and clearly write up and enter test defect
reports into issue tracking systems.
• Excellent familiarity with consumer and entertainment based computing
products including PC hardware, MS Windows Operating systems, broadband
applications and gaming.
• Strong understanding of web analytics and familiarity with Omniture,
Nielsen VideoCensus and Comscore.
• Ability to understand analytics business requirements and how they relate
to web analytics technology.
• Comfortable multi-tasking on many projects at a time and work efficiently
to complete them.
• Knowledge of Javascript and how to QA in multiple browser environments.
