Proficient in the LINUX Operating system and commands to navigate file system structure, text editor, networking commands, etc... 5 years as an support Analyst or similar position 5 years supporting LINUX or similar operating system 3-5 yrs of C++, Scripting (Perl/shell) experience required Additional skills: Ability to monitor computer applications and hardware via HP Openview or similar tool Can analyze data packets using wire shark or ethereal ( Or know how to use these tools) Timely identification of issues and service restoration according to documented procedures. Incident Escalation.
