Lead/Architect is REQUIRED

Job Description
Our client is seeking a LEAD Software Engineer/Architect to be an integral
member of a software engineering team responsible for developing our
client's next generation reference data system.
Job Responsibilities
As a Lead member of this team, the individual will have the following
responsibilities:
* Technical design, implementation, deployment, and support of the
Reference Data System
* Lead small to mid-sized development teams involved in full-lifecycle
development efforts which are based on Microsoft CRM 4.0, xRM framework,
.NET development technologies and server products
* Partner with Business Analysts to review and implement business
requirements
* Partner with Project Managers, Technical and QA Leads on estimates,
status, identify issues and monitor indicators of risks
* Partner with the Architecture team to ensure track work is aligned
with the strategic direction of the enterprise
* Establish architectural best practices and CRM customization
standards to be utilized cross-project.
* Provide hands-on development and mentoring of other more junior
members of the development team.
Job Qualifications
* The ideal candidate must have excellent communication skills and
proven ability to design and deliver solutions relevant to complex business
problems.
* The ideal candidate is one who keeps current with evolving Microsoft
Dynamic CRM/XRM trends
* The ideal candidate is one who has the proven abilities to LEAD the
development of Use Cases and Design document artifacts to effectively convey
requirements to both clients (Internal Business Users) and development
teams.
* Experience working with vendors to integrate products
* 8+ years of overall experience including 3+ years of experience
managing or leading a software engineering team
* In-depth hands-on knowledge of the Microsoft Dynamics CRM 4.0
platform, the entity model, security model, and Web services
* In-depth hands-on knowledge of Advance Developer Extensions for
Dynamics CRM / xRM framework
* Hands-on experience architecting solutions that involve CRM
customization to include server side code, custom business logic,
integration modules, workflow assemblies and plug-ins
* Experience with customizing the Web client or Dynamics CRM for
Microsoft Office Outlook to include scripting, integration/development of
custom Web pages using the CRM user interface and style guides
* Strong experience with the C# language and the Microsoft .NET
Framework, Windows Communication and Workflow foundation
* Experience architecting business solutions based on SQL Server
database, reporting and integration services
* Knowledge of Unified Modeling Language (UML), Design Patterns, and
other architectural principals
* Solid experience developing solutions which involve relational
database technologies on platforms such as SQL Server or Oracle with
experience programming stored procedures using Transact SQL or PL SQL
* Experience with object-oriented design and Service Oriented
Architectures (SOA)
* Knowledge of extending Microsoft COTS products and technologies such
as Microsoft Sharepoint Server, Sharepoint Foundation, Velocity, In-Rules
and Office products through APIs and extensions
* Computer Science degree or degree in a related field is desirable
* Experience with Java is plus
