*REQUIREMENTS:*

*1.    **Require eight years of information services experience* to include
*six years application development and testing experience in a distributed
environment with diverse technologies.*

2.    Require *5 years J2EE development experience.*  Prefer *WebSphere
development* experience.

3.    Require *4 years UNIX experience (Solaris and/or AIX)*.

4.    Require *3 years experience developing using Agile methodologies*

5.    Require formal training in *object-oriented methodologies* and 4 years
experience with *object-oriented design*

6.    Require demonstrated experience *building and implementing software
solutions and design patterns requiring complex technologies in an
enterprise environment requiring integration between the mainframe and
distributed platforms*.

7.    Must have experience resolving complex system problems in a team
setting, including evaluation of options to determine optimal solution.

8.    Prefer *high-volume transaction processing experience* (5,000+
transactions / second).  Should have experience with tuning high-volume
applications for performance and instrumentation of code for tuning and
monitoring.

9.    Require *3 years Oracle development* experience

10.  Experience with *OpenJPA, Spring, jBPM, WebSphere MQ (P2P and pub/sub),
and Wicket a plus*

11.  Experience using *Ant, Maven, and SVN* (Subversion)

12.  *Excellent interpersonal and communication skills*, and ability to work
effectively as part of a team.

   1. Strong conflict resolution skills using a win/win approach.
   2. Communicates proactively in a project environment with colleagues and
   management on a wide variety of project issues.  Key skills include
   mentoring experience, issue identification and resolution, status updating,
   and analyzing and reporting on alternative design solutions.
   3. Communicates effectively on complex technical matters to non-technical
   audiences, including the FRS business community.  Communications could
   include presentations, training, documentation, memos, etc.

13.  Demonstrated skill in estimating and tracking progress of tasks, as
well as in making recommendations for adjusting project plans as needed.
