*Title: *Informatica ETL Administrator Location: Cleveland, OH Hire type: 6-12 Months Contract Start Date: Immediate Job description: *Job Title* : Informatica ETL Administrator *Relevant Experience (Yrs) * : 6+ Years of IT; 6+ Informatica Administrator/Lead *Technical/Functional Skills * : - Informatica PowerCenter 8.6.1, Informatica PowerExchange, IDQ, IDE, metadata manager, Oracle 11g, UNIX, Toad, Knowledge of mainframe. - Install Informatica product suite – PowerCenter, Power Exchange, PowerChannel, IDE, IDQ, metadata manager, B2B - Install other required software on UNIX platform, like - Oracle, DB2, SAS, Essbase, MQ Series, etc. - Support all Informatica environments – repository and servers - Configure security all across environment and audit them on monthly/quarterly basis - Debug environment or product related issues, if occurred any - Optimize the performance of environments – development, qa, production. - Identify opportunities and constraints of existing system/environment architecture - Create impact analyses as required - Create technical documentation, content and templates. - Manage users access and privileges in all environments - Work/coordinate with other teams (Unix Admins, DBA, 3rd Tier vendors etc.) to implement new products/solutions and also to resolve issues, if occurs any - Excellent verbal and written communications skills are a must. *Experience Required* - Understands and implements *Informatica* 8.x best practices, tuning and optimization - Expert skills in *Informatica* 8.x ETL , Administration - Relational Database Experience (ORACLE, DB2, SQL Server) - Experience of product installation – *Informatica product suite*(PowerCenter, PowerExhange, PowerChannel, Metada Manager, IDE, IDQ, MQ series etc.), Oracle, Essbase, DB2 - UNIX expertise required - Performance Tuning Experience is required - Experience of Integration of various platforms is required - Experience with extracting data from mainframe systems desired - Strong verbal and written communication skills are required. Ability to present technical details to senior management or less technical audience. - Broad technology footprint experience (UNIX, MVS, multiple database platforms) - SQL Experience / Performance Tuning - Experience dealing with large data volume *Roles & Responsibilities* : Informatica Administrator is responsible for building and maintaining all Informatica environments required/exists at Enterprise level. Responsible for installing Informatica product suites and other required software; configure and managing securities; working with Informatica to resolve any open/new issues and follow-ups; working with Informatica project teams to cater their requirements; responsible for managing servers, repositories, users and various services running in all Informatica environments; responsible for performance monitoring and tuning. In addition, should be a team player and willing to contribute towards achieving Team goals. Functions as a mentor to junior ETL Administrators /Developers.
