KEYS: Datawarehouse Architect; Solid work with Cognos 8.x/10; Strong ETL. ** - Develop BI metadata and models for standard, adhoc reporting, analysis and risk dashboards. - Tune BI models and reports for performance issues. Identify need for indexes and materialized views. - Develop DWH data models and be responsible for the physical and logical database layer. - Analyze Operational Data Sources to identify the design of the subject areas of the DWH. - Design ETL logic and build ETL mapping specifications for global ETL development team. - Support the business with report questions as it relates to functionality and performance. - Lead the internal review process of reports, adhoc queries built by business users and identify duplicate calculations, filters etc. that can be built in the DWH or into the Cognos model. - Work closely with the Project manager and Development Manager to define project timelines, and to manage requirements.
