Job Title: Senior Security Engineer Location: Marlborough, MA (Face to face interview is required after sucessful telephonic round) Duration: - 6 Months with possible extension Our client is seeking a Sr. Security Engineer that has strong enterprise security operations experience, along with a majority of the following skill sets: Required Technology (Listed in order of priority) * Juniper and Palo Alto Firewalls - MUST * Palo Alto Intrusion Detection/Prevention - MUST * Juniper VPN - MUST * Symantec WEB gateways/Proxy/URL filtering - Nice to Have * Symantec Data Loss Prevention - Nice to Have * Entrust - Nice to Have * The selected consultant will be asked to provide 24x7 production support * Some weekend work may be required and as such candidates must have flexible schedules. Additional Requirements * 8 or more years of IT Security Experience, preferably within the financial services industry * CISSP and/or GIAC certification * Professional Experience in UNIX, Windows, Linux, TCP/IP, Storage Devices, network devices, fail safe strategies, LAN and WAN methods and Intranet/Internet security * BS degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field Overview * The selected consultant will perform all of the following duties. * Provide operational support of Palo Alto firewall environment * Provide operational support of Palo Alto IDP * Assist with the establishment of external SOC * Monitor and maintain security logging * Support Web filtering solution * Implement rule set changes and upgrades of security systems * Provide advocacy during the design and development of network security focusing on firewalls, Intrusion Detection/Prevention Systems, encryption schemas * Monitor changes in hardware, software and user requirements at all sites to ensure security is not compromised or degraded.
