Certified candidates would be preferred*.* * * Title: Project Manager Duration: one year + four years extensions Location: Marana, AZ Telephonic and F2F Experience required: 9 year* * *Job Description : * Required Skills: • Must have 5 years direct work experience in a project management capacity, including all aspects of process development and execution. • Preference of PMP Certified • Preferred experience in working in a K-12 education environment • Demonstrated competence in gathering and documenting end-user requirements • Documented ability to interface with end-users who are often intimidated by technology and resistant to change • Expertise in project management software, such as Microsoft Project • Database and operating systems experience with Microsoft Windows and Microsoft SQL Server 2008 • Experience at working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment is essential • Persuasive, encouraging, and motivating, with ability to defuse tension among project team, should it arise • Ability to bring project to successful completion through political sensitivity • Demonstrated exemplary written and oral communication skills • Strong interpersonal skills • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment *Responsibilities:* • Assist MUSD in identifying business requirements for projects; • Direct, coordinate and manage project development from inception to knowledge transfer. • Define project scope and develop for District’s review and approval, District-required specifications for projects; • Develop for District’s review and approval, detailed project proposals and associated communications documents. • Effectively communicate project expectations, milestones, to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion • Perform cost-benefit analyses of projects, and perform analyses of District’s budget and expenses related to such projects; • Determine and assess need for resources to ensure project success (including human and technological assets); • Oversight of project implementation, managing changes in project scope, applicable testing ; • Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations. • Conduct project post mortems and create a recommendations report in order to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements. * **Thanks & Regards, Saroj Technical Recruiter AMS LLC [email protected]* -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "American Vendor--IT Consulting" group.
