*Title: Teradata Developer * *Location: **OR * *Duration: 12 Months * *Job Requirements:* · Good balance of communication and expertise in large data warehousing projects dealing primarily with Teradata · The successful candidate will possess strong technical skills with a good working knowledge of project, resource and relationship management. They will demonstrate the ability to successfully translate business requirements into solid, extensible, and sustainable technical solution. · This position requires strong interpersonal skills, working with a wide variety of teams including technical and business representatives. Having the ability to work with business partners to determine their needs, while at the same time provide a suitable solution that does not hamper system performance. Being able to think outside the box and work with multiple personalities. · Strong collaborative skills to work across myriad stakeholder group to translate goals and objectives into technical plan to build solid Solution models. · Comfortable and competent in developing internal and/or external partnerships that leverage resources and improve responsiveness. · Success in designing and facilitating working sessions to transition business understanding and requirements into solid BI Solutions. · Adaptability in the use of technical management skills including but not limited to project management, resource management, issue management, etc… · Successfully understand and consume all forms of requirements from appropriate suppliers and sources (e.g. functional, performance, usability, compliance, regulatory, technical). · Experience in full life-cycle solution delivery projects (more than 15 people, longer than 6 months). · Experience, interest and adaptability to working in a Waterfall or Lean/Agile delivery environment. · Exceptional collaboration, listening, written and verbal communication skills. * The skills/tools you will be expected to have: *Strong working experience in a Teradata environment using TD12 · Strong working experience using Teradata Utilities (BTEQ, Fast Load, MultiLoad, FastExport, TPump) · Very Good hands on experience using Teradata Tools (SQL Assistant, PMON, Teradata Administrator) · Good experience on performance tuning on Teradata/Cognos · Sound knowledge of Teradata BTEQ scripts to implement business logic · Very Good working knowledge of Cognos and Informatica · Strong SQL skills · Experience with using ETL · Strong Experience on large multi terabytes data warehouses · Excellent communication skills Regards, A.
