Please send matching resumes for the following requirement with rates and contact information. *Sr. **Data Warehouse Developer* * * *MA – Cambridge* * * *Duration : 3 - 5 years*** **There are 3 positions available* The Data Warehouse Developer will report to the Data Warehouse Manager and will be responsible for developing and maintaining database objects, ETL scripts, and application code and infrastructure as documented in functional specifications. *Key Functions & Responsibilities:* · Provide technical support of existing data warehouse reporting applications and infrastructure to ensure operational availability and scalability. · Identify, coordinate and help resolve the root cause of production issues. · Work with senior developers and project managers to gather and analyze requirements for data warehouse projects. · Actively participate in designing, developing, tuning and debugging appropriate back-end structures and tools to meet business requirements. · Build and execute unit, integration and regression tests and plans. · Participate in reviews of other development document deliverables. · Write and maintain technical and operational documentation to support new and existing applications, including load scheduling documentation. · Monitor and forecast database growth and application performance *Basic Qualifications**:* To be considered for this role, candidates must have the following experience and skills: · Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, related field, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience. · Excellent communication (oral/written) skills with respect to team members, peers, and staff at all levels of the organization. · Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as part of a team. · Excellent organizational and problem solving skills; be detail oriented with an ability to meet critical deadlines and manage multiple assignments and priorities · Experience reviewing and analyzing business requirements for modifications to existing or development of new systems · 2-4+ years of hands-on experience working with Oracle databases. · Experience with *Oracle SQL and PL/SQL including stored procedure programming.* · Experience with development processes and production release management. · *Foundational knowledge in Sun Solaris UNIX and/or Red Hat Linux* *Additional Qualifications**:* In addition to the required skills, the ideal candidate will have these*highly desirable skills: * * * Experience with application and database tuning and interdependencies on operating system configuration. *Experience with ETL programming using Informatica. (required and desired)* Experience with one or more of the following* ERP applications: Oracle Enterprise Business Suite R11x (Oracle Financials), Peoplesoft HRMS v8x, BSR Advance * Exposure to enterprise* reporting tools such as Hyperion or OBIEE.
