They will be ensuring that the established service is in accordance with both the relevant contractual SLA’s and associated budget. They will have in depth knowledge and understanding of Enterprise Network specific products. The employee will understand the complexities of Security designs and be capable in delivering the product to the customer. They will work closely with Project and Role Out managers and develop and maintain standard delivery models for the chosen products. * * Base Responsibility • Technical Expertise for LAN & WAN • Understanding of architectural standards for Enterprise Networks • Manage and support activities within the planning / detailed design cycle to ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction • Development of technical design documentation for initial roll-outs, moves, adds and changes • Verification and approval of customer network design documents • Provide technical and commercial support to both Sales and customers ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction • Ad hoc implementation support • Internal Relationship Management • International Relationship Management • Support customer project work • Liaise closely with all internal / external resources for implementation type activity Key Accountabilities • Ownership and specialised knowledge of Enterprise LAN & WAN designs • Ownership of technical documentation • Act as the SME in LAN& WAN with any additional TDA’s assigned to projects Key Challenges & Complexity • Selling TC Standard Portfolio products • Ensuring Market readiness for Customer with TC Portfolio Products • Review and identify common Risks and look to implement long term solutions where possible. • Project Quality Gate Reviews and Enforcement • Sign off for operational handover on all solutions * *Power of Decision • Technical decisions on solution proposals • Priority calls on technical choices and fixes • Training Requirements to support Portfolio knowledge • Enforce design Governance and Risk Ownership/Management • Push Standardised Portfolio products* *Professional Experience/ Knowledge/ Skills Education/ academic studies • Educated to Degree or equivalent • Relevant IT Disciplines (ITIL) a plus • Extensive Network Technical Training Technical Know-How • Large scale routing protocols EIGRP, OSPF, BGP • Knowledge of IP VPN, MPLS, ATM, xDSL, Voice, VoIP, WLAN • Knowledge of infrastructure services including SDH,CWDM, DWDM, • Knowledge of network based applications and their security dependencies • Experience of Network designs, products, implementations and principles • Experience of designing and configuring QoS • Experience of Telecom services and IT Service Provision extremely helpful Managerial Know-How/ Human Relations Skills • Experienced delegation skills • Strong communicator with clear vision • Negotiation skills and the ability to influence people • Mentoring experience • Coaching experience* -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "American Vendor--IT Consulting" group.
