*Position: Ruby on Rails Developer*
*Location: Sacramento, CA*
*Interview mode: 1 phone interview, 1 RPI interview (pairing interview),
(2) 2.5 hour interviews on computer.*
*Duration: 1 year contract. *
Interview process is above. 4 interviews: A phone interview, a pair
programming interview, and two 2.5 hour coding interviews.
*Job skills needed:*
- 5 + years experience with Ruby on Rails
- Experience writing Frontends using Ruby on Rails
- 5+ years experience with Large Scale System Development and
Maintenance Projects
- Experience in deploying user-facing interfaces in an Agile Environment.
- Experience with RESTful APIs
- Experience Designing in Web environments
- Experience with Agile Development tools and techniques
- Developing Software using test-driven development (TDD)
- How to write tests
- How to execute the test
- How to create the process behind it/Set up TDD Env.
- Experience Coding in Rails Framework
- Experience with Vim editor
- Relational Databases (MySQL or other)
- Experience guiding, training and mentoring team members
- Bachelor or Master Degree
*Preferred Skills:*
- Experience using Pair Programming methods on projects
- Experience with React.js
- Experience with Flux/Redux
- Experience with Docker
