Job Title:          SAS Administrator
Location:          St. Louis, MO
Duration:          1 Year  contract
Experience:      3-5 Years

Job Overview:

SAS Administrator - Provides support for SAS customers by trouble shooting 
problems with SAS applications/ environment and providing technical solutions 
to business user needs.  Provides support of SAS applications software by 
providing software upgrades, patches, and routine maintenance to monitor and 
improve performance.  To provide monthly report metrics on performance of SAS 
environment, applications, and usage. Researches alternative technical 
solutions for changing business needs and SAS customer base.

Education:
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or Management 
Information Systems or equivalent work experience.

Knowledge:
Thorough knowledge and understanding of SAS Software Administration activities 
or SAS software applications (SAS 9.2 release experience preferred). 3 to 5 
years of experience in SAS software applications/ administration.

Skills:
Strong customer support Helpdesk and software engineering trouble-shooting 
experience with strong interpersonal/ communication skills.

Must be high-energy, detail-oriented and proactive with the ability to function 
under pressure in an independent environment.

*Must provide the necessary skills to have a high degree of initiative and 
self-motivation with a willingness and ability to learn and take on challenging 
opportunities.
*Strong communication skills -- both verbal and written - with strong 
relationship, collaborative skills and organizational skills.
