*Location: Englewood Cliffs, NJ* *Duration: 12+ months* *Qualifications/Requirements*: • Experience with various As A Service design paradigms and its value to enterprise. • Hands on experience with IaaS and PaaS Technologies. • Exposure to cloud native platform architecture. • Understanding of application modernization principles (replatform, lift-and-shift, refactor, rewrite). • Technical understanding of compute containers/virtualization, with knowledge of common solutions and tooling. • Exposure to distributed systems and architectures • Familiarity with continuous integration and delivery solutions (architecture, workflow, and tooling). • Experience in Media & Entertainment Domain. • 1+ years’ experience designing and operating Cloud Foundry (any distribution or open source). • Some practical infrastructure experience with either Public or Private Cloud offerings (VMware, AWS, Azure, GCP, or Openstack). • Knowledge of 12 Factor application principles. • Product lifecycle management experience *Professional Experience Requirements* • Strong Enterprise IT experience and demonstrated ability to work with cross-functional IT teams. • Familiarity with overall cloud technologies including enterprise or hosting provider services including *SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS solutions* • 7+ years of experience in customer-facing positions as a technology product management or engineering role in a Fortune 100 organization • 5+ years’ experience engineering high traffic B2C, B2B websites. • Engineering experience hosting open source technologies running in private, public or hybrid datacenter locations • 7+ year of experience working with various distributions of Linux/Unix • Strong technical background with good hands-on experience in some of the following technology platform products: o Open source hosting stack : LAMP o *Database Platforms: *Mysql/MariaDB, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Cassandra etc. o Caching : Varnish, Redis, Memcached o Search Platforms : Elastic Search, Apache Solr o Messaging : RabbitMQ, Apache Kafka • 5+ years of strong engagement with one or many of the application development Stack : Java, Python, Ruby, etc… • 2+ year of experience working with application development and operations teams in an agile environment with a focus on DevOps and CI/CD. *Education*: • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems • Continuous learning certifications in various platform products/technologies • At least one cloud computing related certification -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "American Vendor--IT Consulting" group.
