Job Description: Operational Risk Management is looking for a BI Functional Analyst with expertise in Oracle Data Warehousing, Systems Analysis and Architecture to play a key role designing and implementing BI applications. This candidate will participate in and help drive the business requirements gathering process and will be a key player in building the partnership with the business community. Additional activities will include producing mapping documents, data modeling and testing. Responsibilities: § Interact with business customers to understand and document their business processes and requirements § Create lineage documents, architecture documents, detailed functional design documents, test plans and test cases, user training documents and implementation documentation as necessary § Work with development team to design and implement system modifications § Create SQL queries against Oracle tables to troubleshoot, develop metrics, and create ad-hoc reporting as needed § Debugging and researching data anomalies that may arise in Risk Management Analytics § Be a liaison between technology and business communities for daily project tasks § Participate in the development and reviews of the data model § Assist technical team in turning business requirements into technical needs § Assist with designing report layouts and use interfaces for accessing reports/analyses § Collaborate with Technical and Business SMEs to design / extend the physical data model and security model Qualifications: § Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, IT, or Related Technical field or equivalent experience § 3 + years Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition § 2 + full life cycle implementation projects of one or more of the prebuilt Oracle BI Analytic applications § Proven experience in data warehousing and dimensional modeling § Experience working with project teams using accepted project lifecycles § Ability to work independently with limited general supervision § Solid interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively organize and communicate across functional and technical lines are critical § Must have very strong analytical skills with the ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications with an emphasis toward highly available and scalable enterprise solutions § Ability to collaborate with a diverse set of business customers and drive consensus when conflicting requirements are identified § Experience with low-level ad-hoc query tools (Toad, SQLPlus) and a detailed working knowledge SQL queries § Knowledge of security protocols and architectures for reporting systems § Experience in Operational Risk Management is desired § Experience in conducting requirements gathering sessions and brainstorming workshops § Persistence to work through complex issues and design challenges § Enthusiastic, motivated, and curious about learning the business Regards, Geetanjali Mittal 702 263 0855 ext 215 *DISCLAIMER:* Under Bill 1618 Title III passed by the 105th US Congress this mail cannot be considered Spam as long as we include contact information and a method to be removed from our mailing list.
