Position: SAP BO Technical Administrator Duration: 6+ months Location: St. Louis, MO The Business Reporting and Analytics team is seeking a qualified candidate for the role of Enterprise *SAP Business Objects Technical administrator*. This role will work closely with Enterprise Infrastructure staff to lead global coordination for the Business Objects environments, ensuring effective administration of the landscape. This role will also provide consulting services to development team and implementing best practices. In addition to support activities the position will be responsible to communicate to the global teams on support items to ensure effective sharing. The individual must be motivated and self-driven to follow up on issues and proactively drive them to resolution. The individual may work with customers throughout the organization and will interface regularly with developers and BI Stewardship team members. *Responsibilities include: * • Technical management and Administration of the Business Objects Platform. • Coordination of security requirements and administration • Promoting, migrating and upgrading content between multiple Business Object environments. • Installation of Client Tools and coordinate with System Admin to verify compatible with Server . • Performance monitoring in collaboration with Enterprise Infrastructure to ensure smooth operation, to identify and resolve manage performance issues and to drive best practices in universe tuning • Oversight and communication of global governance standards and work closely with the appointed Sub Administrators globally. • Develop, implement and document processes and standards for SAP Business Objects • Work collaboratively with cross-functional and technical teams to provide advice and information to global groups and serve as an advocate to promote the benefits of the platform. • Responsible for the Administration of the tools such as CMC, LCM, Meta Data Manager, BODS, MOBI and Import Wizard. • Perform daily monitoring of the servers/systems and respond quickly to alerts -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "American Vendor--IT Consulting" group.
