I have urgent requirement of .Net Developer with GUI/Financial Experience. Location: NYC DURATION: 6 MONTHS+ C#/.net core credit application- primarily traders as users but some operations and support rich GUI c# WPF, Winforms, xml, SQL, ADO plus: high performance trading systems, multithreading, pub sub tech like tibco rv or ems, mq or solace also third party tools like infragistics Knowledge of fixed income and trade processing workflow- if not than general financial trading knowledge They are running unix linux server side- so any exp with shell scripting is a plus. Will help them with debugging at times They also must be able to communicate with the traders and work within a global team, and be self directed. This is replacing someone on the team who is leaving. Maintain and enhance an existing trading application they have new requirements from the business side as well as a migration project from some legacy (com active x) to new pure .net stack like wpf and winforms. Project should be at least a year- and then after that will be part of a strategic desktop platform-integrated system for cash, derivatives and risk. They are in the cash space. in past interviews candidates tend to be more web front end based rather than rich GUI *Main Function* The Credit team is looking to hire an experienced developer in order to expand its’ business coverage. The successful candidate will have 5+ years of hands-on development experience for server-side components for business-facing applications (such as trading systems), preferably in the Fixed Income space. The system is a rich gui C# application with mostly Java server side. *Person Requirements* *Basic Qualifications* · 2+ years experience in object oriented Design and development. · 2+ years experienceng in Designing/Implementing UI frameworks *Qualifications* · Strong C#/WPF/Winforms, ADO, XML, and SQL skills.
