*Database Developer * *Jacksonville**, FL* *6+ months* * * *F2F required after phone* *Database Developer – Bank Subsidiary* >Will touch Code Analyze, define and document system requirements for data, workflow, logical processes, interfaces with other systems, auditing, reporting requirements and production configuration. • Leverage the Business Analyst team by drafting SQL statements and implementing ad hoc data pulls to support reporting projects. • Work with DBA and Data Architect to specify more complex SQL pulls and to guide the database set up for optimal reporting performance. • Build out functional reports using SQL, QlikView or other BI tools. Choose the right tools based on the total business requirements and time to results. • Design, develop and maintain web-based business process and database applications. • Create scripts and DTS packages for data integration, data maintenance or bug fixes. • Write and maintain functional and technical specifications. • Analyze code for problem resolution and performance optimizations. • Provide technical consulting and respond to error reports, problems or questions. • Monitor the performance of reporting database applications and servers and assist with technical support as required. • Determine and implement data structure, organization and access • Design and develop data models and database architecture • Construct, install and test the database system • Write manuals or explain database's function • Consult with others to assess the system performance and make modifications as required • Modify existing databases, as user needs change *Required Skills: ** * • BA or BS degree, preferably in a technical or analytic discipline • 5+ years of experience developing relational database applications with complex MS SQL.
