Job Description:
Position: Oracle Apps Developer
Location: Phoenix, AZ
Duration: 3-6 Months with Extension
Interview: Phone Hire
Rate: $45/HR C2C
Develop Custom Oracle Database Applications from Design Specifications. This
PL\SQL Developer will be responsible for the analysis, design, development,
maintenance and support of software applications. This position is also
responsible for the development of key infrastructure and/or architectural
components and documentation.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or Computer Information
Systems with emphasis of study in systems analysis and design of software
database solutions or equivalent experience is required.
Experience
• Minimum of 3 years in Oracle database software development.
Equipment to be used
Oracle software including Designer/Developer, database. Other software as
required. Computer, keyboard, monitor, printer, calculator, copier and phone.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Develop software applications using SQL and PL/SQL in stored procedures and
functions within packages, triggers and libraries.
• Develop interfaces and dashboards using Oracle BI Publisher and QliqView
• Analyze business requirements, writing high level physical and logical
design functional specifications
• Assist in the development of release notes for unit and integration QA
testing plans
• Creation of high performance SQL and PL/SQL and in-depth tuning of both
• Provide assistance in the research, evaluation and application of new
technologies, and re-evaluation of existing processes/methods used in software
development life cycle
• Interact with cross-functional teams to understand business and data
requirements
• Participate in multiple, parallel projects using formal project planning
techniques and communication tools.
• Gain necessary input/approval of requirements modifications
• Participate in code reviews as requested
• Ensure applications meet strict business requirements
• Develop technical system documentation
• Ensures that applications meet the organizational data architectural
standards
• Support the operations of existing applications as required
• Adhere to company policies on information security and confidentiality.
• Assist in the release notes for unit testing and integration testing plans
• Accept responsibility for delivering new modules, producing tools and
generating queries for reporting
• Creation of high performance SQL and PL/SQL and in-depth tuning of both
