Location: Broomfield, CO, Milwaukee, WI
Duration: 6 + Months
Position Description
Responsible for the analysis, design, programming, debugging and
modification of jobs and sequences for IBM DataStage for use in handling
data for the client's Health Solutions clients. Writes jobs, completes
programming and performs unit testing and debugging of jobs using current
best practice methodologies in IBM DataStage and related products. Completes
documentation and procedures for installation and maintenance. May interface
with users to define system requirements and/or necessary modifications.
Also writes and maintains PERL and ksh scripts as needed for expanding
functionality of implemented DataStage components.
Minimum Requirements
5+ years experience in software engineering
Additional Knowledge & Skills
Senior Ascential DataStage professional with 5+ years of experience with
DataStage using both Server and Parallel platforms.
Knowledge of kba job control used with DataStage, Unix shell commands, ksh
scripting, PERL, etc. as needed.
Expert level in SQL query writing, Excellent communication skills.
