F5 - Load Balancers / Application Delivery Controllers In depth engineering experience on F5 load balancers, including a general understanding of routing protocols BGP, OSPF, TCP, SSL, TLS, and in-depth working knowledge of application layer protocols including HTTP, SSH, SSL, and DNS. Applicant must have an understanding of load balancing strategies/ techniques, expertise in application switching / traffic management, knowledge of persistence and SSL certificates. Previous experience on F5 versions 10.2 and 9.4 preferred. Complete basic configurations on the F5 (creating VIP, pools, profiles, monitors, etc), including OS upgrades, trunking, and general troubleshooting of the devices. A Advanced skills of designing, coding, and troubleshooting iRules and iControls are required.
