Location can be Philadelphia PA 6 months There will be a Phone Interview and a Face to Face Business Intelligence Architect Seasoned Professional (5-7Y) This position is responsible for the end-to- end design and development of business intelligence applications and database architectures including physical data modeling and database design, BI tools and applications, dashboard development, continuous improvement and optimization of BI with respect to monitoring, performance, availability, stability and reliability. · A minimum of 7 years experience working as developer in a data-driven information environment and will also have a strong background designing and implementing analytic systems, ideally in a consumer-facing or web-based business model. · Highly competent in databases, including Oracle 10g, 11g, mySQL, MS SQL Server. Knowledge of Teradata, Essbse, Vertica, MapReduct and Hadoop is a plus. · Must have hands-on experience in Business Intelligence tools such as OBIEE or Microstrategy. · 2+ years of core database administration experience including installation, monitoring, maintenance, etc. · 3+ years of application and database architecture experience including designing for high availability, scalability, etc. · 3+ years of data movement using both commercial ETL products and home grown code. · 2+ years of data modeling and analytical database design experience.
