Rate: $55/hr on c2c Location: Reston, VA Duration: Long-term (More then 1.5 yr) Title: Oracle DBA I need atleast 7-9 Years of experience We have an opening in Reston, VA with our direct client. We have an exclusive on this, but the first resumes we sent were just DBA’s and not Developers. We are seeking to pay $55 buying C2c and this contract could last for several years. The specs sent to us by the hiring manager are below: I’d say at a minimum, you are looking for someone with the following skills/experience: - Developing large, complex Oracle packages - Developing Oracle stored procedures and triggers - Performance tuning of PL/SQL code using SQL Trace/TKProf - Developing applications that allow for multiple instances of the same procedure/package to run in parallel, on different subsets of data stored within the same physical tables - Tuning SQL using hints and indexes - Improving performance using Oracle partitioning/subpartitioning - Using DBMS_SCHEDULER to schedule jobs - Extensive PL/SQL programming experience using: o Oracle exception handling o Autonomous transactions o bulk binds o user defined objects/records o cursors o ref cursors o varrays and collections o dynamic SQL o transactional consistency through use of planned commit/rollback The following are something I would expect the individual to have, but are not part of the minimum requirements for the position: - Oracle imp/exp and impdp/expdp - Oracle SQL Loader Please let me know if you have any candidates that may be interested in this opportunity. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "American Vendor--IT Consulting" group.
