7-10 years of full life-cycle experience

Proven leadership skills

Retail systems knowledge

Degree in Computer Science or Information Systems

Experience developing in C and JAVA

Experience with the Unix Operating System

Experience implementing complex software packages

Experience with formal analysis techniques

Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite





*Responsibilities: *

A Senior Systems Analyst is expected to analyze, design, develop, document,
and deliver accurate, well-tested modules for production applications in a
team environment, while providing leadership to team members. The Senior
Systems Analyst provides technical assistance and often performs as a team
leader. The SSA is expected to share Subject Matter Expertise in one or
more related areas. Additionally, the Senior Systems Analyst is responsible
for cultivating and applying an understanding of Client’s methodology,
policies, standards, and internal and external controls. The Senior Systems
Analyst interacts with solution delivery partners (including 3rd party
vendors), IT business liaisons, and business representatives to analyze
requests, accurately size, plan, deliver, and support the required effort.





*Scope and Additional Information: *


This person will comply with methodology, enforce policies, standards,
including internal and external controls, will serve in a leadership
capacity and lead team(s) through all phases of the SDLC process for mid to
large size tasks. The Sr. Systems Analyst will accurately size complex
requests, develop system and integration test plans, ensure high quality
implementations through the application of methodologies and procedure,
interact with management and customers on a daily basis. This person will
also provide input in developing departmental policies and procedures,
deliver accurate and timely status reports, provide systems incident
support including after hours on-call rotation support, will participate in
project planning, facilitate timely issue resolution, identify and track
risks, will oversee temporal, and deliverable scopes of projects, review
and approve deliverables prepared by the project team, ensure documents are
complete, current, and stored in appropriate location, participate in the
selection process of internal/external resources, interact with 3rd party
vendors and coach and mentor team members.
