Conducts technology and network assessments, including solutions to enhance or create new business opportunities, integrating multiple technologies. Serves as the highest level voice and/or data network consultant to internal clients and technical management in all areas of the business to ensure conformity with corporate network architecture. Directs and serves as a mentor to less experienced staff.* * * *Responsible for design, planning, integration, and implementation of complex enterprise-wide telecom networks consisting of Cisco hardware with various WAN/LAN technologies. Configuration and troubleshooting experience with MPLS across a variety of WAN transports such as frame-relay, MLPPP DS3 and OC3. Familiarity with Cisco 6500 and 7200 platforms. Strong BGP and OSPF skills is also a critical. Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.
