Please send suitable candidates ASAP. *Client: Scripps Networks* *Title: Liferay Portal Developer* *Location: Knoxville, TN* *Duration: 6 months* *Rate: $60/hr* * * *Job Description:* - Candidate must have comprehensive knowledge of the Liferay Portal Server and be an expert at extending its capabilities, performance tuning, customizing the user experience/look and feel and developing portal content - Responsible for Development and maintenance of existing Liferayportlets as needed - Responsible for Development of functional prototypes to demonstrate concepts and to enable rapid iterative support for evaluative research - Experience in design and development of Web Services and Portal Beans - Demonstrate excellent troubleshooting skills for all tiers of web applications - Must be able to work independently and as a team member.
