Models will be derived from both, the candidate's expert recommendation of industry best practices, and evaluation of existing models in use through the SAS SWA system. The purpose of said models is to demonstrate product reliability and performance, forecast repair service volume, product failure analysis, repair center performance analysis, and product failure exposure analysis. Experience with automating these models in the SAS Analytics Pro environment is essential to success. Experience with interfacing & exposing SAS models in the OBIEE reporting environment is a plus. Experience with data modeling to optimize SAS model performance and effectiveness is a plus. Understanding of establishing & maturing an Analytics Competency Center is a plus. Candidate must be well versed in SAS architecture and using EG and EM to meet these objectives. The candidate must have expert competency with data mining, exploratory analysis, statistical modeling, and reliability measurement methodologies.
