Please send resumes to [email protected] Position: Software Automation Test Engineer Location : Irvington, New York Duration : 6+months The Position: Looking for a consultant who is a Test Automation Engineer/expert with 4+ years of experience in automated software testing tools. The candidate should be able to translate business requirements into automated Tests and verify the test with manual testing. Open source regression and load testing tool expertise is a strong plus, but familiarity with any disciplined test framework software is essential, as the candidate will be designing, building, and executing automated tests of Flat World’s web-based software developed in Rails and PHP. The candidate should be capable of training other members of the team in the QA software to ensure knowledge transfer of the testing scripts and how to maintain them. Description: • Code functions, classes and methods to support automated tests • Code test scripts using Java, JavaScript • Create, execute, and maintain automated test scripts to validate that systems are fit for purpose • Implement automation tests using tools like Selenium, QTP, or Rational • Identify, analyze and report test results for automated test scripts • Manage QA automation projects and processes • Mentor junior staff members in technical designs and automation techniques • Manage test suite for multiple projects Provide input in developing quality assurance standards in regards to functional, regression, performance and load testing Required Skills: • 4+ years experience with automated testing • Experience with web applications and familiarity with related technologies: including HTML, HTTPS, SQL, JavaScript and at least one programming language. • Strong knowledge of Java and JavaScript • Must have 2 solid years of coding functions and tests in Java and Java scripts • Must have hands-on experience of Selenium Core and QTP • Minimum 7 years of writing automated scripts using Java and Java scripts • Knowledge of Object-Oriented concepts and programming • Experience with altering codes and creating new complex functions • Understanding of how leading Web browsers function (Internet Explorer, Safari, Firefox, and Chrome) • Experience working with client / server and RIA Web-based applications • Experience working with schemas and writing SQL queries • Ability to write test cases following use case methodology • Strong technical and analytical skills • Must possess strong organizational and communication skills; verbal and written • Ability to work well independently and in teams • Experience in Javascript, Jquery, CSS, Ruby (Ruby on Rails, HAML) Regards, Abi nLeague Services, Inc.
