*Purpose of the Position: *

*This position will be responsible for driving the network integration
project and the security remediation project.  *To perform project
management and senior architectural guidance functions for, Under minimum
supervision, the employee provides project leadership for a senior team of
IT professionals engaged in architectural work impacting many business
units worldwide. Proactively responsible for the development and regional
buy in of policies and standards.


*Major Duties and Responsibilities:
*Establishes project priorities and manages the activities of the large
project team, which may include multiple tracks, delivering each project
within the established commitments, ensuring quality, performance and
conformance with specifications and requirements.
Leads large project efforts, including enterprise-scale systems which
affect multiple large or complex applications.
Writes and evaluates documentation which is used to educate professionals
in all functional areas.
Develops and implements project management strategies by working with IT
management to publish project management guidelines and training.
Works with IT management to share resources across IT.
Leads cross-team planning sessions to meet customer needs.
Manages project timelines and deliverables ensuring that goals are met for
the entire team.
Works closely with global and regional senior staff to resolve more complex
problems.
Applies change management policies to all tasks performed.
Understands IT strategic issues and concerns on a global and regional
level.
Drives project initiatives that address the needs of customers in multiple
business units.
Heavily involved in the decision making process for IT strategic
initiatives.
Participates in project prioritizing to meet overall IT strategic measures
of performance and goals.
Generates regular status reports, as assigned, in a timely manner.
Communicates effectively with clients, peers, vendors, management and other
IT organizations.
Develops and conducts presentations to CxO-level or ELT management, and as
necessary, large groups.
Advises IT management and customers on strategic technological decisions.
Leads budget management for services and equipment related to projects and
programs.

*Education and Related Experience:
*BS/BA & 9-11 years overall experience, MS/MA & 8-10 years overall
experience, or equivalent experience.
*
Knowledge/Skills: *

A minimum of five (5) years progressive technical project management
experience. *A minimum of 10 years progressive technical experience
servicing the customer systems administration needs on various operating
systems. Multiple platform experience with networks and servers a*nd a good
understanding of the implications each brings towards a heterogeneous
computing environment. The ability to analyze, identify and resolve
problems, as well as judgment to determine optimal set-up of new equipment
are also necessary. Strong learning, mentoring and organizational skills.
Ability to gather project requirements from scratch through investigative
techniques, customer queries.
Problem Solving/Judgment and Decision Making:
Problem Solving/Judgment: Exercises judgment within generally defined
practices and policies in selecting methods and for obtaining solutions.
Extensive experience and understanding of interdependencies with other
systems and environments as they may impact the current project or vice
versa.

Decision Making: Decisions are made within established policies and
standard practices. Normally provides information or assistance to the IT
group management strategic decision-making process.
