Senior C# Developer Location: WA Responsibilities: • Design, develop and enhance eCommerce order fulfillment and warehouse management applications, with particular focus on .NET and Oracle technologies; • Analyze requirements, produce detailed technical specifications and work estimates; • Participate in defining and utilizing in-house standards; • Coordinate and conduct design and code reviews and walkthroughs; • Write and comment code to standards, implementing best practices in collaboration with our business partners; • Participate in production systems support and incident responses. • Act as a mentor to more junior developers; • Research ideas, technologies and strategies to support user requirements. Skills and Experience: You’ll bring a diverse set of skills and experience in .Net and Oracle technologies to the table, and are expected to be comfortable working in a dynamic and professional work environment. You’ll be called upon to stay abreast of the latest tools and technologies – particularly in .NET – and collaborate to build a platform to support our long-term success. • Five or more years professional software development experience; • Three or more years of experience in C# and Oracle PL/SQL. • Three or more years of professional experience in three or more of the following: ASP/IIS, ASP.NET, HTML, XML, VBScript, JavaScript, MSMQ, SOA, design patterns, UML; • A self-starter; skilled at managing and prioritizing own workload; • A passion for working collaboratively in a team environment; • Experience analyzing technical solutions and writing detailed technical specifications; • Positive, “can-do” attitude; • Strong verbal and written communications skills, including the ability to collaborate with technical and business team members; • Experience in following a formalized Software Development Lifecycle; • Efficient and experienced in troubleshooting application issues; • B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent experience. • Desired experience with VB6 or PowerBuilder. • Desired experience supply chain or warehouse management systems. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "American Vendor--IT Consulting" group.
