*Mandatory Skills:  *

*. 8+ years experience as an I.T. Business Analyst with design and data
modeling accountabilities*

*. 3+ years experience working in a data management capacity*

*. 3+ years within business intelligence implementation project(s)*

. Ability to quickly understand business process and operations in a large
enterprise environment

. Ability to facilitate requirement sessions with different levels of
management across multiple business units

. Excellent communication (written and oral), presentation and
interpersonal skills

. Must bring knowledge and experience of warehousing / business
intelligence best practices

. Past implementation experience utilizing *OBIEE, SOA and Teradata*

. Experience with database and data analysis technology

. *Proficient with SQL*

. Ability to work creatively and analytically utilizing strong problem
solving skills

. Ability to define performance measurement needs

. Ability to develop product requirements based on input gathered from a
variety of sources including analysis results and feedback from the user
community

. Ability to capture business, technical and operational requirements and
create / communicate business intelligence specifications (ETLs,
cubes,analytics).

. Continually align BI project requirements to broader IT and BI strategies
and architectures

. Serve as liaison to the business community, to ensure that its needs are
fully understood by the project team

*Duties: *

The scopes of the analytics projects are to move key operational data into
a central repository to enable comprehensive and accurate BI reporting for
the enterprise. The I.T. Business Intelligence Business

Analyst position will work with the business to understand the needs of
this data and how it supports and brings value to the business. The
business analyst will need to acquire an understanding of current
operational systems, work flows, data definitions and rules. Knowing the
as-is operating model and after gaining an understanding of new reporting
needs, the Business Intelligence Business Analyst will define business and
functional requirements of how this data should be governed, sourced,
managed, stored and viewed to support the lifecycle of information from
data capture through actual end reporting



. Assess current capabilities and identify high-level customer requirements

. Define opportunities to create business value for the client

. Define the to-be business solutions and process models to realize these
opportunities.

. Identify and define detailed business requirements, functional
requirements and use cases.

. Evaluate and define how to improve and streamline processes regarding
data flow and data quality to improve data accuracy, viability and value.

. Review prototypes, solution blueprints, project scope, and other
requirements to ensure that the needs of the business are being met.

. Participate in transitioning the requirements and use cases to the I.T.
project team, and ensure a clear and complete understanding of the
requirements and the business value they drive.

. Assist in translating requirements and use cases into test conditions and
expected results for product, performance, and user acceptance testing

. Work with the project manager, architects, and other team members to
define metrics and performance goals around business intelligence.

. Develop test conditions and expected results based on the application
requirements
