Position: Java consultant Duration: Multi year’s contract Location: Santa Fae, NM Interview: Today or Tomorrow Visa: OPT / OPT EAD / H1B Sure Interview if the profile is shortlisted Job Description: To act as programmer analyst for a public assistance system replacement. Java/J2EE web application analysis, design, development, testing, and implementation. Perform the full life-cycle responsibilities including requirements gathering, analysis, design, development, testing, implementation, documentation, and administrative tasks related to the creation of a JAVA/J2EE/WebSphere/Oracle/Linux based Web application. • Five (5) years of application development experience • Strong object-oriented analysis, design & programming skills using J2EE for multi-tier architecture • Strong experience working with JSP, JSF, EJB, JDBC, JMS, AJAX, Web Services, SOA, Linux/UNIX/AIX (Redhat Linux Desired), Oracle (10g or higher), Web sphere, spring and struts Frameworks • Experience working with XML, JUnit, ANT, Eclipse, log4j and other standard development tools • Experienced in data structures, algorithms, core Java libraries and their implementation details • Experience working with collection frameworks, performance improvement, and Design patterns • Experiencing with object oriented Methodologies and UML • Experience working with Software Configuration Management Using Rational Suite (Clear Case, Clear Quest). • Experience in working with rules engines is highly desired. • Extensive experience in SDLC process. Knowledgeable in various development methodologies • Experience in Integration and Systems testing in JAVA EE web environments. • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, outgoing personality and ability to work in a team environment • Demonstrated ability to assist in system design and JAD sessions and produce clear and concise technical documentation • Ability to perform and accomplish job requirements on a day-to-day basis with little or no direction and/or supervision • Ability to organize and plan work in advance, determining the most effective and/or efficient courses of action • Ability to apply logic, rational thinking, intuition and discernment in innovative ways to analyze situations, solve problems and make decisions • Sample deliverables and end user references will be required. • Experience in Welfare Eligibility Systems is highly desired. • Appropriate certification(s) is not required to qualify for this position but may be helpful.
