Job Description:
Position: Net Oracle PL/SQL Developer
Location: Tempe, AZ
Duration: 6 - 12 Months (with Possible Extension) / Contract Position
Seeking for two individuals to join a team on a contract basis for 6-9
months and participate in developing applications. This individual will work
under the guidance of the Software Engineering Manager to develop and
maintain applications in a C#/.NET and PL/SQL/Oracle 11g environment.
The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree or higher and 5+ years
experience in software development.
Candidate should have superior skills in each of the following areas:
. Designing, developing and testing .NET frameworks and C#
. Defining, developing, and maintaining Oracle packages and queries written
in PL/SQL
. Object-oriented design and development using industry standard design
patterns
. Relational database design and implementation
Requirements:
. 5+ years experience with writing Oracle PL/SQL packages
. 5+ years experience developing objected oriented applications
. 5+ years experience writing ASP.NET applications with C# code
. Experience with enterprise development tools and methodologies
. Clear and effective written and verbal English communications skills
. BS or equivalent experience
. Prefer experience with Perl or CRON scripting languages
Responsibilities:
. Define, develop, and maintain applications written in C# utilizing the
.NET framework, Window Forms, ASP.NET, HTML, DHTML and JavaScript
. Convert design and user specifications into application logic; define and
code screen layouts, graphical user interfaces, printed outputs, and
interfaces with other systems
. Develop and maintain application documentation
. Provide technical assistance by responding to inquiries regarding errors,
problems, or technical questions; train end users and technical support
staff as required
. Analyze, install and test upgrades of products; monitor performance of
applications and/or programs after implementation, taking actions as
required
. Understanding of software development processes and methodologies
including their documentation and creation
. Ability to comprehend overall product vision and participate in feature
definition process
